Pool Room Etiquette 3

Hi folks! I am sure I have said this in an earlier post, but it’s worth repeating. It’s alwaysBilliards Etiquette Picture good practice good judgment and use common courtesy when playing pool especially in public places like a pool hall or a sports bar where pool tables and other gaming equipment are available to play where there are people around.

With that said, I have included a 2 posts in the past about practicing billiards etiquette. You can see the first one by clicking here. Also, you can check this one out as well.

In addition, I have included this one as well not just for viewing pleasure as there might be some of you that might see it as amusing, myself included, but to use this as a guide to act in a proper way to show courtesy when playing in public places that have gaming tables. I hope that you like this post, and feel free to add what you thought about this post. I’ll look forward to seeing you again in the next post. Cheers!

I was hoping to hear more with etiquette number 3! Pool was my favorite after school past time. It started with bumper pool and moved up to eight ball then over to nine ball.

Etiquette is important in a pool hall that isn’t spaced properly. I love how you pointed out the necessary adjustments.

How long have you been a pool player and we’re you ever in any tournaments ?

Hi there, Shannon! Thanks so much for stopping by. I would give etiquette #3 the most consideration of all since most players abuse the table especially spilling drinks. The spacing of other tables within a given public place where there’s pool tables seems to never be adequate enough as it is very potential to bump into other players. In this situation, most people wait until the other player shoots and gets out of the way. I am sure you have seen this before since it’s common practice.

To answer your question, I have been a pool player for almost all my life. Yet, I have never been in any tournaments as I consider pool a past time/hobby of mine. I hope that I answered your question correctly. Feel free to come back as I look forward to hearing from you again. Cheers!
