Happy MLK Jr. Day!

In observance of today’s holiday, I would like to say Happy MLK Day! Also, I’d like to point Martin Luther King Day & Billiardsout that Mr. King was a billiards player as well.

One of his famous quotes was, “I have a dream”.

What’s also worth noting is that he had an inspiration quote where he said, “If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”

Have a wonderful holiday, everyone!

Let me begin by saying that I had no idea that MLK was a billiards player. Let me continue by saying I am a terrible billiards player so we definitely do not have that in common. It is always great to learn that persons you hold in such high esteem are regular people too that engage in regular activities. I also love that quote! As always, he is an inspiration to so many people, including myself, and I am so happy for everything he has helped us achieve to this very day. Excellent post!

Hi there, Max! Yes, MLK Jr. and maybe even Malcolm X were billiards players. It wouldn’t surprise me if George Washington and Benjamin Franklin were billiards players as well. It is nice to know that historic figures such as these find that playing pool is a nice and relaxing activity to engage in with civilians. You’re right in saying that even household names can engage in regular activities. Since the MLK holiday just past, I thought that I’d share this image with an inspirational quote and would also wish you a Happy MLK Jr. Day to you as well. By the way, I am not a good billiards player myself either, I just enjoy this activity as I find it to be a hobby of mine from an early age.

Anyhow, I would like to thank you for stopping by. Feel free to chime in anytime as I look forward to hearing from you soon. Cheers!

      Armand
