A few years ago, I stopped playing billiards, because this girl I was dating was very pro. She could do anything on the table. She can make the ball fly everywhere.

I think she could do a jump break also. She was so sick of how bad I was playing that she never saw me again. Nevertheless, long story short, it felt like I would never get better at this kind of sport.

The heavy hitter cue sounds pretty awesome. If I can attempt to do a jump break like a pro, I would definitely go for it. I am married and have a baby daughter now so its not for a date or anything. I just want to get better. Along with getting this cue stick, is there anything else I should try to improve on?

Hi there, Win! Sorry for the late reply. I am sorry that you are not playing pool anymore. I mean, a girl that you were dating left you because you’re not good at pool? That’s not right. I hope that I can help you get back into it shooting pool again. By the way, I am wondering how good of a pool player was she? I am curious to know. Perhaps that she was using the same break cue that is related to this post?

Anyhow, to answer your question, I feel that there are other ways to improve on when shooting pool such as using different hand bridges to aim and position the cue stick. I have other “how-to” tutorials on this site that you can check out. I hope that helps, and thanks for stopping by. Feel free to stop by anytime as I hope to hear from you again. Cheers!
