Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing good. I have a question to ask. Have any of you every played a pool variation called cutthroat? Well, to be honest with each of you, I have not played this game in my life. And, since this site is about billiards and gaming, I thought I would go over the game, the rules, and how to play this game. I hope to give you a good understanding of the game of cutthroat.
To give a brief description, Wikipedia describes this game as “…a three-player or team pocket billiards game, played on a pool table, with a full standard set of pool balls (15 object ball s and a cue ball). Each player is commonly assigned a set of five consecutively numbered object balls, but they do not have to be consecutive.”
I have provided a short .pdf file that describes how the game is played. Also, I have a YouTube video to hopefully get a better understanding of how to play.
I hope that you gained an understanding of how to play the game of cutthroat. If you have any thoughts, questions or comments, feel free to post them in the comments section below. I look forward to hearing what you all have to say. Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy playing cutthroat. Cheers!
