For this post, I am only going to cover just the 7ft green felt as I feel that’s the traditional color. The product’s rating has been reviewed rather favorably from the customers on Amazon.

Reviews

There were 119 customers that have purchased this product, and out of those 119 customers, 105 rated this product favorably while 14 rated this critically which averaged to a rating of 4.5 stars out of 5 which is enough to convince me to promote this product on this site.

To state a one favorable from a customer, one quote was, “…a little brighter than I wanted but it looks nice and does the job.”

I would also like to say that there was another favorable review. Another customer stated, “Excellent quality cloth. Ball speed is about the same as bar room tables.”

On the flip side to the positive reviews, there’s no escaping the critical (negative) reviews. As much as I don’t want to state them, there’s no perfect product and not everyone can be pleased. So, I would state a couple of them:

One critical reviewer stated, “This product tears very easily.

Another unsatisfied customer stated, “I thought it was really cheap.”

Since I am trying to find the best possible products out there for your optimal gaming experience in regards to playing pool, I thought that this one. The rating of 4.5 stars out of 5 stars is something I thought of when recommending this product for review. I would also like to say that I have not used this product before since I didn’t have a need to do so. If I did, I would definitely use this item.

Yes, I always try to find the best possible pool tables that have the best reviews with the lowest prices. So far, they’re all from a trusted shopping site in Amazon. To answer your question, pool tables are not that hard to assemble. Yes, they may take some time to do and be operational, but I would highly recommend to have a partner or more so that it won’t take much time to set up and be up and running to play. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you need any more help, and I’ll do my best to provide the best possible solutions. Cheers!

    Hello Armand,

I don’t think there is any product, let alone pool table, which is believed to be perfect. There is always reviews of both sides given by different customers. Anyways, is the 8ft table recognized in competition as well? I wonder as to why do they come in various dimensions? What sort of differences does it make? Is 7ft more competitive and is regarded as one which is designed for advanced players where it isn’t as spacious compared to 8ft?

Hi Tar! I appreciate your comment. As to answer your questions, the size of a pool table to have is basically a matter of preference. Some professional players like the 7′ while others prefer 8’+. One reason why someone would choose the 7′ table is that they would rather start with those dimensions then possibly upgrade to a higher size in the future.

For me, I’d prefer the 8′ between the 2 because it adds more of a “wiggle room” as I like to have the balls spread throughout the table while I’m playing the game, especially during the break. All that is advised is to have enough room that allows space to move about. As to answer your question of the 8′ table being recognized in competition, I would say that yes it is. In fact, all sizes of pool tables are being used in competition, whether if it’s 8′ or otherwise.

So, it really doesn’t make a difference as to why there’s various dimensions in pool tables. I hope I have answered your questions, and feel free to come back anytime, and I’ll do my best to help out as best I can. By the way, you are right in saying that here is no perfect product, including pool tables.
