Hi Armand, thanks for the interesting sharing about the Chronos chess clock. This reminds me of the chess competition that I used to watch during the old school days. Two parties will take a turn to punch the clock after they have made their move on the chess. It is especially breathtaking to watch the participants make their move at the very last few seconds. Wow!
For this clock, what are the color variation available? I wonder if this clock has a low battery indication.
Hi Tan! Thanks for commenting on this post. So you used to play chess using a product like this? Hopefully, you won a lot of competitions. As to answer your question, there are not other color variations other than black, unfortunately. In regards to the battery indication, I’ll have an answer for you in within 24-48 hours. Stay tuned…
Hello Tan. As for the life of the battery on this product, it is said that the battery would last quite a long time as one of the customers said that he’s been using this product for 5 years and still has yet to replace the batteries. I hope that this has answered your question. Feel free to get in contact with me if you have anymore questions. I look forward to hearing from you again. Take care.
I am an avid chess player and We used to use an ant on the park table, if it ran off your move time was up! No i seen that in a movie! I love the look of this clock it keeps the traditional look while adding new tech to it. Im wondering what it offers to make it so expensive though. I see it had many modes and I suppose that adds value but I would have to try it first. Nice review . I may check this thing out!
Hi Scott! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. I really appreciate it. Wow, an ant was used to track time while playing chess? I never heard of that one. I’ll have to check that out. Your guess is as good as mine when it comes to the high price tag of this chess clock. Could it be that it’s made of some fine material? Once could only wonder why. If you want, I can find out. Let me know, and I’ll get it done. Also, if you decide to get this item, let me know how it goes as I hope that this product is suitable for you. I hope to hear from you soon. Cheers!
