Hi Leahrae! Thanks so much for the comment. It’s ok to be so-so, great, or a beginner at this game. I consider myself so-so at best myself in playing pool. Just like you I do find myself getting lucky or “streaky” from time to time where I am potting one ball after another. However, this doesn’t happen too often. But when it does, it’s a “feel good” feeling to have.
The red dots or “measles” on the cue ball are to aid in helping people to get a better aim in striking the ball with precision. This sounds like an excellent tool for honing our senses at the table. Usually I would have trouble visualizing the spin of my ball. I mean I might believe I got it right, but I could be completely off.
It would be even more cool if we get a whole set of these balls with the red dots. I mean having all the stripe and color balls including the eight ball to have it. That way we can even visualize how our shots are affecting other balls. What do you think?

Hi Win and thanks for the comment to my site. To answer your question about whether to have all the balls to be “measled” is a matter of preference: to each their own. To me, I think just the cue ball is enough to have the red dots on them, not the entire set. If I can find a measled ball set to play pool with, I might promote it in a future post. Stay tuned.
