Stealth Pool Cue

Hi there! I have a question to ask. Do you have problems breaking the rack at the start of a Stealth Cuegame of either 3-ball, 8-ball, or 9-ball? If so, I might have just the cue that you’re looking for. It’s called the Stealth Bomber STHBK01 25oz Break Cue.

With this kind of cue stick, the balls would be moving about after hitting the rack with the cue ball as you’ll have a better grip as compared to a regular cue stick where there are no grip handles at all.

I found this on a site called Pool Dawg where they specialize in billiards and gaming products. The price is $126.65 and has good reviews to back it up.

The specifications and details are outlined as follows. Also, I have included the price and where to obtain the stealth cue stick:

Details

Stealth Cue2

Think of a steering wheel grip, but on a pool cue. Second, it’s 25oz. Sure, it isn’t as heavy as the Elite breaker, but at 25oz, the cue is legal for pretty much every league. Third, leather tip, so once again, totally legal. Fourth, a matching black matte shaft. And lastly, it has free matching joint protectors.

There were 5 customers who reviewed and gave this product a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. Because of this rating, I am promoting and recommending this stealth cue stick on this site.

Another reviewer said, “I use it for everything. I break, I English, I Draw, I masse, everything.”

I’m not sure if there are any professional players using a dooley handle pool cue. I’d imagine they too would feel the grip hand to be awkward and not as freely adjustable as the standard non-dooley ones.

As far as cues for breaking, I’d go for a much lighter cue (at around 16oz, which is lighter than a typical playing cue). Increased speed and cue ball control become so much easier to achieve compared to using a heavy break cue.

Other than awkwardness, I cannot think of many other drawbacks with the dooley handle compared to the regular straight-wrap handle. Then also, what makes a cue a good cue is the weight of the cue (per user’s stroke capacity) and the quality of the shaft. That is, for 2 different cues with the same weight and the same shaft- would technically play the same way when executed by anyone with the same physical stature.
The cue butt is merely the “character” of the cue. More often than not, this is what determines the value of a pool cue because of the technicality in manufacturing them. The more inlays, the higher the cost.

How it has to do with professionals is that, there are a lot of strokes (shots) that cannot be executed using most cues under $200 (meaning, the provided shaft tends to lean toward lower quality).

Hello Anon! I thank you for checking out my site. I tend to agree that the professional players using a dooley handle pool cue are few and far between. I would give them credit if they can shoot using this kind of cue without too much difficulty.

It’s safe to say that all pool players, novices and professionals, are different. Hence the motto, “To each their own.” Some professional players are comfortable shooting with a lightweight or heavier cues. It’s a matter of preference.
As far as looks are concerned, I do see how this kind of cue can be awkward. I never knew that the cue butt is the character of the cue. I always thought that the butt was always just part of the cue.

I thank you for providing your feedback and giving insight to what a cue consists of. Perhaps I’ll find other cues that are more affordable without much of the awkwardness that is suitable for all kinds of pool players. Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Krish. Thank you for stopping by my site. I’ll try to provide you with the most effective solution to your question asap. Stay tuned…

Hello Krish. I feel that I have the answer that you’re looking for. You can clean this shaft with a non-abrasive pool cue cleaner like a shaft cleaner. It is recommended that you do NOT want to use any abrasive sand papers or cleaners because that would remove the black stain from the shaft.

I hope this helps. Feel free to share if this has helped. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Take care.

Hi Armand. Thanks so much for your review of the Stealth Pool Cue. I’m no expert, just someone who enjoys the odd game, but your review gives me all the information I need to make an informed decision on buying one. You give a very detailed specification list, and the fact that five customers gave it five stars is a big decider for someone looking to buy. You also give the opportunity to leave a comment at the bottom. Love your graphics on the header.
