The Black Billiard Glove by Cuetec

Are you looking for a top quality billiard glove to shoot with? The Black Billiard Glove Cutec Billiard Gloveby Cuetec is a top-quality billiards accessory that you can be assured of that will give you an extra boost to be a step closer to become a professional billiards player.

I have seen professional players on television and pool halls where they’re wearing gloves. And, I asked myself, “What’s the purpose of wearing that thing?” It turns out that the purpose of wearing a billiard glove is to minimize hand sweating that may occur while playing the game.

How it’s used

This kind of glove is designed to give you more of a precision shot to aim in a way where the shaft of the cue stick is moving smoothly and not sticking to your hand when you’re aiming for the cue ball. If you are the type that plays this game on a regular basis, then this glove would be ideal for you. Also, if you play in tournaments, then this glove is a must-have where you wouldn’t want to leave home without it.

Now, as opposed to not wearing the glove, there might be instances when you’re Billiards Aimusing your hand to hold the cue stick in place as shown in the picture to the right where the shaft might stick to your hand when gliding. As an example, the guy is using a grip known as a “closed bridge” where he’s using a his left hand to keep the cue stick as level as possible. This closed bridge grip is quite common among billiards players.

The glove would be worn on his left hand to prevent the sweating should it ever happen. The glove would make the shaft of the cue stick move more smoothly without any stickiness.

What it comes with

The glove comes in one color: black. It is meant to fit most sizes on the left hand. Another thing that I want to point out is that you can only wear the glove on the left hand as it is not reversible, unfortunately.

Here are the specs of the glove:

  • Available in black color;
  • The cloth is breathable, flexible and durable;
  • One size fits most

At the time of this post, I have contacted the Cuetec Company if it is also available for left-handed shooters (wearing the glove on the right hand), and it is confirmed that it is not available. This glove only caters to right-handed players.

Staying Power

As for the longevity of this glove of how long it can last, you can be certain that you can use this glove for a long time with minimal wear and tear. You’ll be having days and months of billiards play satisfaction with the Cuetec glove.

About Cuetec

The Cuetec Company has a reputation for “providing more cue for the money”. This reminds of a quote I am doing my best of “providing more bang for your buck”. I have this quote on my Review Page regarding a billiards table called the Frisco II. In saying this, Cuetec goes above and beyond to make sure that they make the best possible quality for their billiards products, and to make sure that their customers are satisfied. This is my intention as well. I hope that you are going to be satisfied with this item.

In Summary…

Overall, you can’t go wrong with the Cuetec Black Billiard Glove. If only it came with other colors, and if it can cater to left-handed shooters. I will try to find another company to that would provide a glove to suit left-handed shooters. As for this glove, I would recommend to cut off the fingertips if you have long finger nails.

If you have any questions or comments, please add them in the comments section, and I would get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks!

    I have been seeing these pro gloves at many billiard competitions. Some of my hobbyist friends were also using them.

    I always wondered how they work. What are their main purpose? Is it because that we want more friction? I would like to know the real reason behind it.

    And you may extend your content aa little bit. It’s quite short and not defining many informatioN!

      Hi Tyler. Thanks for the reply and feedback to my website. As it turned out, I submitted the draft portion of my post. It’s now polished, yet still not perfect as I’m trying to get a response from the company if the glove can also be available for the right hand. The page is considered in “pending” mode as I’ll add more content regarding that.

    I really enjoy the page and the page layout. Also I didnt know there were billiard gloves out there. Do you play billard on a regular basis? Do you use gloves during any of your games or matches? I’m just curious because I’m a bit of a novice at the game.

      Hi Brittny. Thanks for visiting my website and, yes, there are billiard gloves out there. To answer your questions about playing billiards on a regular basis, my answer is no, I do not. I find the game of billiards a hobby of mine where I only play casually. I have not used any gloves as I was trying to search for items relating to billiards where people can enjoy playing the game more, and I found this. It has a high rating and favorable reviews from Amazon customers and decided to promote this item. There will be more items relating to billiards and gaming to promote, and I’ll recommend the most favorable ones possible. I hope I answered all your questions. If you have anymore, feel free and ask ahead.

      Cheers

      Armand
